I first heard about He Leadeth Me from Fr. Mike Schmitz, who did a series of homilies on his experiences. Norma and Guillermo were kind enough to gift me with the book and here's my review for Goodreads:

 One of the best religious books I've ever read. Fr. Walter Ciszek's story of the 23 years years he spent in Russia, 5 in solitary confinement and 15 in slave labor camps, is incredible. The courage and faith in God which he lived everyday makes him a hero in my book!  I hope the efforts to canonize him are not long delayed...I can say I plan on praying to him as if he's already a saint.
